I’m David Taylor (or df taylor for the pretentious). I write songs of abject misery and occasional melody, then let people hear them.
I try and combine what I love most: rock, pop, country and soul music. The artists I listens to and thieve from are extensive. They include Robin-Propper Shepherd, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Ryan Adams, Justin Currie, Greg Dulli, Sam Cooke, Smokey Robinson, Tim Wheeler (Ash), Johnny Cash, and Radiohead amongst many.
More than writing, I love cinema, literature, games, comics and boxing. It is not likely I’ll post on all these topics, but I’m incredibly inconsistent and all of this may be lies.
