Tomorrow I am going to a rehearsal, with some other chaps who want to make music together. It’s been more a year since I played with a band – and I’m a little nervous.
We’re playing some of my songs, along with Keith’s (my guitar buddy). In the space of two hours, we have to see how well it’ll gel and what hope there is for a working group. I’m excited too.
So, guitar in its gig bag for the first time in aaaaaages, and my pedals all packed up in their pedalboard case (though I seem to have lost my volume limiter for tube amps… it’s small and it’s fallen into something). An odd sight to see after so long.
